What is the Education For All?
Education For All is Destitute India's flagship program for underprivileged children, with a special focus on girl child education. It provides free education, nutritious meals, health services, shelter and skill development, runs evening classes in slums, gives free stationery and uniforms, and teaches English and basic computer skills to youth.
We say that children are the future of our country, are we really serious about our future? Not at all.
According to freshly released Census 2011 data there are two alarming facts: 78 lakh Indian children are forced to earn a livelihood even after attending school, while 8.4 crore children do not even go to school at all. According to this census report there are about 287 million illiterate adults in India and this is 37% of the global population.
We at DESTITUTE INDIA are trying to help our future i.e. the children. We act as a channel between a child who has no support, no food, no place to call his home and those who have everything but no time to help such children. DESTITUTE INDIA acts as a link between these two sections of the society, one who don't have anything and are just living by chance and another who have everything but no time. We are trying to bridge the gap between these two sections of society.
Under our Education For All Program, we are trying to help such under privileged children by providing them Free Education, Nutritious Meal, Health services, Shelter, Skill Development and many other things which they need to become an acceptable part of society. Till now DESTITUTE INDIA has helped thousands of children by sponsoring their education.
Under our Education For All Program we are mainly emphasizing on girl child education because today's girl is tomorrow's woman and when you educate a woman, you educate her whole family.

- The volunteers of Destitute India go to different slum areas to run evening classes for deprived slum dwellers.
