What is the Women Empowerment Program?
The Women Empowerment Program of Destitute India helps women become independent and self-reliant. It gives legal information against domestic violence, forms Self Help Groups (SHGs) so women can earn and save, runs workshops on women's rights and government welfare schemes, and encourages women to take part in elections and public leadership.
